“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen” -Hebrews 11:1

The week that I intended to post this, a friend of mine had shared an experience involving faith and works. My friend exercised faith, not only believing but thanking God for that which had been done in the spiritual and was yet to manifest in the physical. Believed, knowing that our creator does not disappoint. Even when it seems like we have been disappointed, I have learnt that maybe what we asked for wasn’t right at that time or maybe we just didn’t need it and only wanted it due to what we see physically. Thanked, because showing gratitude has proven scientific benefits.

When she shared her testimony, it motivated me to challenge myself on stepping out on faith, fully and wholly committing myself to it as God commits too. Sometimes, I say oh I believe but occasionally I don’t take actions that literally show that I mean. Walk on water type of stuff (I mean things that sound unbelievable). But God uses unbelievable circumstances to show greatness.

I have seen two occasions where I stepped out on faith in my renewed walk with God ( I may or may not share someday). All I know was I was overwhelmed and was excited at all the possibilities, unlimited access I had,  even if I had faith as little as a mustard seed.

“…If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.”- Luke 17:6

Challenge yourself today, whatever your circumstance, have you a mustard-seed sized faith.”-Luke 17:6

I’m also challenging myself to see what my creator has in store for me!

SN: It always excites me to see God working in people’s lives
